Thomson Reuters Pricing Service (TRPS) is an independent, global evaluated pricing source covering over 2.5 million fixed income securities, derivatives and bank loans. Coverage spans all major financial markets and prices are available at multiple times daily. TRPS evaluations, which provide detailed transparency and market insight, are designed to support asset managers, custodian banks, mutual fund administrators and risk managers.

Thomson Reuters Marketplace Lending helps you to answer the non-traditional loan pricing challenge. In partnership with MountainView IPS, Thomson Reuters assists fixed-income investors and investment managers with third-party, fair market valuation and price verification for hard-to-value loans. Using Thomson Reuters Pricing Service, users are provided with evaluated pricing to support portolio, fund and single-security valuations.

Our Marketplace Lending service utilizes valuation methodologies in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board's ASC 820. Using a proprietary cash flow model, the future principal and interest payments are projected for each loan. These cash flows are adjusted from scheduled payments using forecasted Conditional Prepayment Rates, Conditional Default Rates, and rates for loss upon default. The resulting cash flows are discounted by a required rate of return to arrive at fair value.
